This month Shalom Corps and NYU Bronfman’s Institute for Impact and Intrapreneurship completed its first Activist Journalism course with participants from our wonderful partner organizations. Shalom Corps now has freshly skilled Activist Journalists within our partner organizations and we can’t wait to show off their new skills. How will we be showing off their skills? Shalom Corps is launching its Organization Stories Series this week. This new corner will be where our partner organizations can share their organization’s stories every week via the new techniques and tools they have acquired within our course, from video making to storytelling and everything in between. To start, we would like to introduce BBYO through our activist journalist’s eyes. Created by our very own Activist Journalists, Jenny Oswald and Andrea Lefton from BBYO, here is what BBYO means to their community! Love, justice and purpose as mentioned in their video, is such an important thing to share with the world. Making a difference one project at a time throughout the community, BBYO serves up some amazing initiatives, like J-Serve, Jewish Teens Serving the World!
