In the past few months, OU-NCSY Teen Relief Missions have run many local programs for different NCSY chapters. They had multiple groups from the tristate area working with Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild the home of James Hodge in Long Beach. In Cincinnati, OU-NCSY had a group participating in Kosher Troops, sending care packages and letters to their fellow Jews in the American Army. They also had a group volunteer with the Parks and Rec department in New York, helping to remove litter and to beautify a local park. Additionally, they had some groups in different states, such as New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Maryland, volunteer on different farms, helping to pick food that will be donated to food banks.
Thanks for the amazing work OU-NCSY have been doing. Shalom Corps is proud to be their partner in their Local Initiative!
